Peace Smudge - Lavender Wand

These 4" Lavender burn wands are great for altar adornment, aromatherapy, or decoration.  Lavender as a smudging tool brings a positive energy, opens the heart chakra, calms the mind, releases fear while being effective at soothing the nervous system. This wand is hand made and each one varies in flowers.

To use a smudge stick to cleanse your space, first open a window and clear your mind and paint a clear picture of the goal you want to get out of the ceremony. Light one end of the smudge stick with a flame, and once it starts to ember, blow out the flame and continue to blow to spread the ember. Let the smoke out and clear the space while waving it throughout the area or around an item or yourself. Say any prayers or blessings that you feel are right. Be cognizant of any falling embers by carrying a bowl under your smudge stick. After you have spread the sacred smoke around the entire space, put the stick into a fireproof bowl and let the rest burn out.
