8.5” Mugwort Smudge Bundle

Keep away from children and pets (eating, smudge is okay.) Mugwort Smudge has a sweet smell that is often called “dream weed” for it’s ability to stimulate dreams. It is also used a lot to cleanse and purify a space and for it’s smell. Mugwort has been believed to bring in the Fae. 

To use a smudge stick to cleanse your space, first open a window and clear your mind and paint a clear picture of the goal you want to get out of the ceremony. Light one end of the smudge stick with a flame, and once it starts to ember, blow out the flame and continue to blow to spread the ember. Let the smoke out and clear the space while waving it throughout the area or around an item or yourself. Say any prayers or blessings that you feel are right. Be cognizant of any falling embers by carrying a bowl under your smudge stick. After you have spread the sacred smoke around the entire space, put the stick into a fireproof bowl and let the rest burn out.
