Rosemary 4” Smudge

Rosemary Smudge is said to be cleansing, purifying, and relieving of stress. It is also known to improve memory, mental clarity, and your immune system. Rosemary smudge is great when studying for a test, cleansing a space, or when you need a boost of intuition. 

To use a smudge stick, first open a window and clear your mind and paint a clear picture of the goal you want to get out of the ceremony. Light one end of the smudge stick with a flame, and once it starts to ember, blow out the flame and continue to blow to spread the ember. Let the smoke out and clear the space while waving it throughout the area or around an item or yourself. Say any prayers or blessings that you feel are right. Be cognizant of any falling embers by carrying a bowl under your smudge stick. After you have spread the sacred smoke around the entire space, put the stick into a fireproof bowl and let the rest burn out.
